Cafe Coyote – Old Town San Diego – Doing the Backstroke

After our tour of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, we walked down San Diego Avenue to Cafe Coyote for authentic Mexican food. The place did not disappoint, with large food portions and Grande Margaritas, big enough to swim in. Wandering Mariachi bands roamed the huge restaurant, playing to all those who asked and donated. We were stuffed when we left, but came back 3 days later for another go. I opted to forgo the swimming pool this time. I wish we had better Mexican restaurants back home.
