Once we found Little Italy, it did not take much time to find a likely spot for our morning cuppa and breakfast. I mean, the Italians invented espresso, so we could be sure of good coffee.
The first morning, we ordered Lattes and pain au chocolate (yeah, I know that is not Italian, but, c’mon, its chocolate and bread, the perfect food). My caffeinated latte was great, hot and good coffee taste. My Patty’s decaf was not so much, not hot and no coffee flavour. They warmed it up and promised better the next time.
So we came back the next morning. This time, we ordered lattes, a roasted red pepper and smoked gouda panini to share, a pain au chocolate and an almond croissant. Everything was great, but the decaf coffee was not up to the same standards I achieve at home.
Nonetheless, a good stop for breakfast with great service and decor and enough options to keep us happy. With the front window table, it was also perfect for people watching, which we like to do during morning coffee.
