Full disclosure: This post is my own personal opinion and I have neither solicited, nor received any compensation for my thoughts.
When we booked this place, we were looking for a decent sized apartment or townhouse to be based out of, during our Canmore stay. We were hoping to dine in, rather than eating at restaurants every night.
Fire Mountain Lodge is listed on Booking.com and has a rating of 8.2. The main floor has a half bath, kitchen, dining area and living room, with sliding door access to a large deck, facing the mountains.
On the second floor, there are two large bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and large closet, as well as a room with furnace and hot water heater. This allows large windows on both sides to view the mountain peaks and watch both sunrises and sunsets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, cutlery and dishes. I am sure we could be quite comfortable staying here for a week or so. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, so the place could sleep 6.
Parking and wifi are also included. Our rate for 4 people for 3 nights was $540 (taxes in).
The place was clean, but had some dust bunnies in the corners and higher surfaces. The hot water heater had a lazy thermo-couple, so I had to relight it 9 times in three days to get hot water for showers and dishes. We would stay here again.
