Vancouver in Early March – Part 17 – Walking to Kitsilano

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday and we set off to walk Benji. With the leash on Benji, he and our son set such a torrid pace at times, it seemed he we was walking the three of us.

From the West End, we walked across the Burrard Bridge then through Vanier Park to the Hadden Park Dog Beach. Benji played there for quite a while before we walked back to take the water taxi from the Maritime Museum ferry dock to the Acquatic Center ferry dock.

Arriving at the ferry dock, we were just in time to hear that a young passenger had almost fallen in. The ferry pilot just grabbed him in time.

No more prose required. The photos speak for themselves.

    1. Yup, once spring comes, very few men want to relinquish the shorts. +6, feels like +4 here right now. We went for a walk with fleeces, toques and gloves. At least the rain has slowed down. Things are going to jump now. Just hope there is no frost tonight. Cheers. Allan

  1. The views from the bridge are fantastic. It would make for a perfect spot to capture sunsets! Vancouver is such a beautiful city, but I guess I say it every time you post pictures from the city. Can’t help it, Allan 😊 Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. The day was picture perfect to be sure. I never thought of going that far for sunset shots, but you are undoubtedly right. Glad you like the photos Aiva. Stay well and enjoy the weekend. We are having Irish weather here right now, cool and rainy….about 40 mm over the last 2 days. Things are green and growing. Allan

    1. Hi Lyn. I recall your posts on Vancouver. Yes, Vancouver is a lovely spot. A victim of its own popularity sometimes. Thanks for reading Lyn. How are things out your way. Slowly coming out of lockdown here now. Stay well. Allan
