Living Small – Rosy Glow

These photos were taken May 9/20.

Rosy Glow

Dawn arrived early to kiss this new day,

while Mother Nature put on her display.

Soft rosy clouds brush past bright skies of blue,

giving the world a most delicate hue.

Western horizon with bright moon so full,

shows this small world is anything but dull.

I rued not the early hour I arose,

when all this beauty, my view did compose.

rosy May morn
Western sky is on fire
full moon
scattered remnants
like a fine painting

    1. Hi Bernie. Thanks for reading and your kind comments. Definitely tough at the best of times to be up for sunrise at this time of year. Insomnia only complicates things, I am sure. Stay well. ALlan

  1. Beautiful photos and beautiful poem, Allan, especially the full moon. I once read that full moon tends to bring out our inner animal. There’s Sagittarius full moon and lunar eclipse on the 5th of Juna, which is tomorrow and it may carry with them some intense energy. One of the best ways to survive its intense vibe is to stay creative. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. Strange things happen under a full moon for sure. The moon definitely pulls on the Earth and its inhabitants. Will try to stay creative. Lots of photos and videos of the mountains will help with that. Stay well Aiva. Allan

      1. We are. We hiked another 16 k today along a mostly flat trail by the river. Lots of wildflowers, deer, elk and this morning the birds put on quite the show. Will share them all once I get the curation and posts done. Thanks for reading Aiva. Allan
