the “Current” Normal (Part 2) – Cityscape

Photos from our May 13/20 walk

Casually strolling along river path,

In sight of downtown, while walking in Old Strath.

Taking our time to enjoy Nature’s beauty,

Yesterday all work, today, fun, not duty.

Sauntering along under sun’s warming rays,

Chattering about such a glorious day.

Around every corner, a glimpse or two

Pop out above valley of ev’ry green hue,

Edmonton city skyline, quite the fine view.

Edmonton downtown from start of our walk
Looking up from North end of Low Level bridge
Frederick G. Todd Lookout platform and Canada Place
Downtown from Louise McKinney Park

  1. You live in such a beautiful city, I bet it looks beautiful during the night too. Although it provides plenty of challenges, I can never get tired of shooting a city landscape at night. Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. It is beautiful, especially from the river valley. Because of where I luve, I seldom make it into the city at night, but would like to do a night shoot once. There is something about shooting the city lights across water. Thanks for reading Aiva. Hope you are having a good week. Allan

    1. Thanks Susie. It was a great walk and good to get out of our small city. How is your rainy period going. It finally stopped here today, but is supposed to start again on the weekend. It is good to be retired and not have to rely on the weekend to get out. Stay well. Allan

    1. I hope so. Our day today is brilliant and this will last until Friday, then rain again on the weekend. At least my garden and lawn are doing well (and the mosquitoes). Stay well Bernie. Allan
