The Current Normal – Cotton Candy

Now that the sun is rising later and setting earlier, I am able to capture its beauty.

These photos were taken on August 18, 2020.

Cotton Candy

Pink cotton candy fills azure skies,

fluffing itself up before your eyes.

Beautiful scene without any doubt,

floating ethereally about,

Fast changing colours, as sun goes down,

adorning the sky with golden crown.

  1. Fantastic photos and beautiful colours. I usually go to bed very early and end up missing out on sunsets during the summer months. That’s another reason why I love fast approaching autumn – I get to capture sunsets and be in bed by 9pm! Every cloud has a silver lining! Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. Thanks Aiva. Yes, for some reason, my enthusiasm to climb in the car and head out for the 5:30 AM sunrise or the 10 PM sunset has waned this year. Maybe I will get lucky while we are in Jasper in 2 weeks to see some good sunrises and sunsets. Thanks for reading Aiva. Allan

    1. Thankyou. This was a spectacular display right outside my front door. It made me want to be a kid again and lay in the grass looking up at the clouds. Thanks for reading and commenting.
