Vancouver in Early March – Part 14 – False Creek Water Taxis

There are many public transit options in Vancouver, but none with a better view, than the water taxis running back and forth along False Creek. There are two companies providing this service, Aquabus and False Creek Ferries. We opted to take a False Creek Ferry water taxi back from the Village Ferry Dock near Telus World of Science to the Aquatic Center dock near the bottom of Thurlow Street. The service has a connection point at Granville Island dock, where we had to change ferries to continue to our final destination.

  1. Fantastic photos and fantastic post! Thanks for sharing more from Vancouver, Allan, your pictures speak to my soul 😊 I loved water taxis. We decided to walk to the Granville Island, where we ate way too much food, (my favourite was chocolate covered apples, by the way) and hopped on the water taxi to get back to the downtown! The Aquabus is inexpensive and definitely a fun way to explore one of the most amazing city’s on Earth. Thanks for sharing and have a good Monday 😊 Aiva 😊

    1. Thanks Aiva. Ahhhh, the Granville Island Market. If you can’t eat it or buy it here, it likely does not exist. So much good food and produce. The water taxi is the way to go to save the long bus ride or walk to downtown, for sure. Thanks for reading Aiva. Enjoy your week. Allan
